Category: Visual Identity
Logo, Isotype, Imagotype and Isologo.
Usually when we refer to the visual representation of a brand, the image is called “logo”, but the technical vocabulary is more specific: logo, isotype, imagotype, isologo.
“Logo” is really only the textual and readable representation of the brand.
Isotype is the pictorial element, the symbol.
Imagotype is the representation of both elements together.
Isologo is the fusion of both elements.
